Originally by: borderjumper I'll take 10@ 3.1 mill if avalibal stil? And i dont mean to noob it up but how will the exchange work? many qestions? but it sounds like its worth the risk.
exchange works like this : you send me money once auction is over, I send you shares. Normally I would say that, to limit risk of the person paying the money, that you would be able to exhange 1 share for a fraction of the money, and repeat that until all shares have been transferred; but i'm selling 2 k shares in total, so it would become so time-consuming. I'll still do such a procedure if requested, but im gonna put a ten shares minimum then, sorry.
If you have any more questions, try to catch me online sometime, i like to hang out in the EGSEX channel.

not sure if i follow your sentence but since all shares are covered at reserve, the minimum bid per share that you can offer is 3.2 mil / share.
you don't get to transfer me isk (nomatter how much you would like to) until the auction has finished AND you have a winning bid :)

Quote: Lowest bid is 3.1 right, so start from the bottom and the 1st 3.1 you see is next to go :)
and once all the 3.1 have been outbid, you start from the bottom of the list again, and lowest will be the 3.2 bids, so then you have to keep an eye on those :)

you edited me to 20 @ 3.3 77.5 mil
Should be 25 @ 3.1 = 77.5mil
you are right i did make a mistake, but when i corrected it it seems you were outbid for now, your bid got pwned earlier, i just edited you wrong.
I know it looks super easy guys and every time i make a mistake i look like an arse, but i assure you it's a pain to keep up with people retracting, upping bids, or posting new ones on so many lots, so I apologize, but bear with me :)

Hey stingy how the heck did I get bumped off the list, my bid is the 2nd highest. 25 @ 4mil, =100mil is higher than 3.3 or 3.4mil each.
I had redone the list after someone else pointed out a mistake, your post was a bid amongst a clear and fluid sentence and so i totally read over it. Thanks for pointing it out, situation is fixed.

Edited by: stingy CEO on 19/05/2006 09:31:25 Ok guys you can keep bidding but please know that the list is undergoing maintenance right now, so be careful with your bidding.
Maybe one of the things that got people confused was that if someone who WASN't knocked off before, upped their bid, I justt adjusted it instead of deleting their old one and filling in a new one. This can screw a bit with chronology, but since in fact it is not a bid on 'occupied' shares, it makes no sense to knock someone of for it. So in the revised version it will still be handled like this.
and the 515 shares thing problem is true as well, I made a small Excell sheet to iron out the mistakes, give me a bit of time and i'll work it out.

Ok the list has been updated,
Auction is extended 36 hrs, why not 24 ? because I will prolly be away in 24 hrs, in 36 hrs i can guarantee to be present though.

Quote: extending for 36h? now now.... retract my bid please
Hey mr big shot manager, I appreciate that you are very busy with your own business, but did you even bother to check WHY it was extended ?
Because in the last nine hours, I screwed up the list again, and therefore a couple of people lost their bids when they shouldnt have, I wanted to give them a 24 hr delay to notice this before end, but since i cannot be there to edi tthe list in 24hrs, I decided to make it 36, as I can pretty much guarantee presence there.
Besides, you have no bids to withdraw, not here, not in the other thread, you got bumped out a long time ago. So take your condescending attitude eslewhere, or maybe I should ask you to fund me back the 200 k shares I bought in YOUR business? thank you very much.

On the risk of falling out of character, I agree that I might have been a bit coarse in reply. Also, I would never take back 90% of my money invested in your company, i'd wait two more weeks and sell at profit hopefully. So that wwas also not well thought through.
Now on the other side of the coin, I guess that you can understand my reaction, for someone with the rep of and (demonstrated to me) aptitude at thoroughness, your comment was rash and unfounded.... I simply didn't expect it from you :)
now shushh to both of us, and back to the bids

will update the list tomorrow, ran out of time for today, had a bit of troubles, lots an ungodly amount of cash due to a mistake. I'll recover in two days or so from it, but i'm too tired to edit the list now, i'd just make a mistake...
You guys are on your own for tonight... bidding is going fast, so try to figure out your bid (make a sheet, whatever you need to do) before you bid.
Endtime = tomorrow 2207 EVE

Edited by: stingy CEO on 20/05/2006 10:19:56 there must be something fundamentally wrong with the sheet I made to adjust the bids... this KEEPS happening...
Quote: only 385 shares in your list and once again im not on it ?
You are absolutely right, and yet my sheet gives me an even 500... piece of crap. Problem is when it happens I have to start from zero with the list. You guys think you are frustrated with it ? Imagine how I feel, this is like the simplest of things and it keeps going wrong for some reason I don't see...
I feel tempted to just cancel the auction, the cash it brings me isnt worth all this hassle. But i'll try and sort it out again I guess.

Let me add that i'm just as fed up with this as you guys.
I'm working out the list from scratch again, and after that, 2 hrs to bid, and then game over. If anyone feels like not agreeing with that, go see if I care. bloody pain this auction.
